What we store, and what we don't.

Browsing

You can use every listing, filter and map on this site without an account and without being tracked across other sites. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.

Location

"Near me" asks your browser for coordinates. They are kept in your browser's session storage and sent to this site only as search parameters on the request that finds nearby events. They are not stored against you, and they are cleared when you close the tab.

Email alerts

If you sign up for weekend alerts we store your email address, the cities and categories you chose, and an optional radius. Nothing is sent until you confirm the address, every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all mail immediately. We do not share the list with anyone.

Submitting an event

Submitted events include a contact email so we can ask a question if a detail is unclear. The email is not published with the listing.

Cookies

A session cookie is set when you use a form, so the form can be protected against cross-site request forgery. That is the only cookie this site sets.

Event data

Event listings are collected from public calendars — see data sources. If you are an organiser and want a listing removed, contact the calendar that published it, or get in touch and we will drop it.
