Youth Roller Skate Nights
The Youth Advisory Working Group (YAWG), in collaboration with SUSO Skate Co., is launching 12 free community roller skating events at the Memorial Park Multi-Purpose Trail. Each evening will feature three time slots—one open to all ages and two exclusively for youth. This initiative, funded by the Whitchurch-Stouffville Legacy Fund, will ensure accessibility by covering free admission and skate rentals for all participants.
SUSO Skate Co. will provide a DJ, skate rentals, and on-site support. The project promotes social inclusion, active living, and community engagement, encouraging youth to connect, be active, and reduce screen time in a welcoming outdoor environment. Inclusive options for individuals with varying abilities will also be available.
