The Ship Pub is a pillar of the Newfoundland & Labrador music and cultural scene, where all acts are welcome and events such as book launches, fundraising dinners, comedy nights and poetry readings are held.

Home to the long-running Wednesday Folk Night and also Festival Nights during the Annual Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival.

The Ship Pub is the unofficial artists bar in downtown St. John’s, nestled down the stairway alley of Solomon’s Lane, just off of Duckworth Street. It is the place to go in town for the best in local folk music. They also have a terrific kitchen!
