Neighbourhood Meeting - Proposed Development (67 & 71 Nelson Avenue)

The City of Kitchener has received a Zoning By-law Amendment Application (ZBA) to facilitate minor changes to the development concept that was considered through a previously approved ZBA in 2023 to permit 23 single detached dwellings. The new ZBA would add new site specific provisions for ‘Single Detached Dwellings’ to reduce the minimum rear yard setback requirement from 7.5 metres to 6.4 metres, reduce the interior side yards from 1.2 metres per side to 0.6 metres and 0 metres, and permit front porches to project into the required front yard.

This meeting is your opportunity to:

• Ask questions of City staff and the applicant
